1.       What did you learn about “lifelong wellness” from taking this activity class?

We talked a lot about incorporating into daily life and about the importance of maintaining muscle mass and strength training as we age. Also how important core strength is in everything we do! 

  

2.       How would you apply this information to your life?

 I’ve already been more aware of using my core for daily activities like carrying in groceries from the car and sitting up with better posture. I have also noticed I use my core strength more in other activities like yoga and rock climbing.

 

3.       What is your intention to continue to exercise in your life and why?

 Absolutely! I feel better when I exercise, I have more energy, am less stressed, and am generally a happier human. I also understand the importance of staying active and that good health is a lifelong investment. I also love to eat, and we talked a lot in class about how if you maintain your muscle mass you get to eat more!

 

4.       General ideas for improving this course?

I loved this class! The only suggestion I have is making it a bit longer so we have more time to discuss health topics without shortening the workout.
